An old Greek village that was once called "Losta". There are the remains of a castle in this village of that time. Most of the population is formed by nomads. Up until a few years ago it was mainly a fishing village but now enjoys the tourism industry but old traditions die hard and Selimiye is one of the most famous places for excellent fish restaurant.
